This weekend our team announced a new partnership with Barney's New York which means more access to our pieces than ever before.  To commemorate the announcement, we collaborated with the luxury specialty retailer to design a curated variety of ready-to-wear pieces we’ve coined the Barney's New York XO STAMPD 130 Collection. 

 Since our flagship boutique opening earlier this year, we’ve been working around the clock to create an in-store experience where the architectural concept is figurative of an “idea box” – or rather a menswear lab – giving us the opportunity to test progressive pieces on everyone who passes through our space. Correlating back to the flagship’s street address, The 130 Collection symbolizes an elevated selection of highly coveted inline pieces, re-worked with additional attention to detail and construction. It’s this that soldered the relationship between the department store and designer. 

 “I wanted to launch with Barney's when I knew it was the right time for the brand and we would have something unique to offer to the Barney's customer,” said Chris Stamp of the collaboration. “That’s where the concept of The 130 Collection was born. With our current collection titled New Soldier, the aesthetic and timing lined up in a way that formed a very organic conversation with the Barney's team in New York. We pulled a few pieces from the current collection and re-worked them exclusively for Barney's and our 130 S. La Brea store. We added specialty washed down cottons, making every piece special - something you could only experience if you sought it out."

 The 130 Collection consists of four ready-to-wear pieces including a Raw Oversized Camo Overdyed Tee ($125), an Overdyed Camo Cargo Zip Pant ($240), a Black Arctic Parka ($475), and an Overdyed Camo Bomber ($400). Each piece, which incorporates a unique and innovative overdye technique, will intentionally, gradually fade with each wash without compromising the quality of the garment. Buyers can control the aging process to their liking:

To preserve darker color, cold wash and hang dry.

Wear and wash with darker colors as some color may transfer onto lighter colors.

With constant wear and little to no wash each piece will develop a “resin-like” coating (creating a sheen).

Barneys New York XO STAMPD 130 Collection dropped on November 19th at Barney's New York and STAMPD’s Flagship location at 130 S La Brea in Los Angeles, CA and will go live at barneysnewyork.com on November 23^rd.
