FW22 FALL TWO - LOOK BOOK

People’s affinity to discover and respect mother nature has been a forefront narrative of everyone’s consciousness, especially post-pandemic. Outdoor enthusiasts are seeing their once niche-culture thrive, as people from all backgrounds are geeking out over hiking and camping. The once romanticized city lifestyle is being overshadowed by those who now prioritize becoming one with the gifts of our planet. For the second delivery of Fall, Chris Stamp dedicates a capsule that bridges his passion for the outdoors along with his eye for cool fashion cuts, creating a collection that is inclusive to those who are both seasoned or novice to the world of hiking. Inspired by the youthful energy of boy scout camp badges along with the sophisticated details of military surplus apparel, Chris merged some of these themes with the nostalgia of his Colorado upbringing.

Taking a step outside of their usual monochromatic color palette, Stampd’s second Fall delivery shares a muted hue of military green, which despite the color, maintains Stampd’s signature stoic undertone and modern edge. Cut and sew pieces showcase a reinvented “S” logo with a chrome graphic treatment whose militant attitude is consistent with the disciplined cuts of the capsule - such as the Utility Jacket. Cozy reverse sweat suits pay homage to active outdoor runners who prefer flipping their gear inside out, taking advantage of the sensual soft exterior being on the inside. Playful fonts with the word “Hike” serve as a specialty statement as it is combined with a camouflage print with subtle color treatments, softening the design to be more versatile for both inner city and outdoor devotees. This capsule serves as the foundational building blocks for those from all backgrounds to celebrate their love for the outdoors, providing Stampd’s legacy fashion cuts with thoughtful functional hiking details. The collection will be available starting September 10th at 9am PST online and in store at Stampd La Brea, as well as through our global selects.
