We planned to launch our first footwear collection with UGG through a hosted afternoon at Malibu Farm but as the coronavirus spread, we decided it was best to cancel the activation, regardless of what was already in place.

Many have felt the impact this is having on our local and global economy ( us included ) and now more than ever it’s so important to support local businesses. In lieu of our event, I wanted us to take a small part in giving back to something Los Angeles based, specifically being Malibu Farm, in an effort to help their foundation, as we weather this storm together.

Alongside the team at UGG, we have decided to donate the $20,000 deposit that we had placed earlier this year, to support Malibu Farm, rather than saving it for something in the future. In turn, the restaurant will re-distribute these funds to over 45 staff members including the back of house team, who have lost work due to the closure of on-site dining operations.. We wanted this to be a small token of inspiration for us all to get through this together.
