We Need Change
A black billboard. A symbol of our commitment to fight and stand in solidarity with the black community. A symbol for the last 8 minutes and 46 seconds of George Floyd’s life and for the countless Ahmaud Arbery, Sandra Bland, Breonna Taylor’s of our generation and past generations that have fallen victim to racism and police brutality.
Black culture played a huge part of how I’ve grown up and continues to influence me the most as an artist. It’s time to give back to the community that has embraced us with friendship, support, and love since day one. Platforms need to be amplified, beyond yesterday or today. We are doing our part to learn, listen, and are committed to being part of the change. The more we educate ourselves on the past and present issues, the better of an impact we can have in correcting what has been wrong, for so long.
In effort to raise awareness we will be releasing certain products through the coming months, where proceeds will be donated to the NAACP and Color of Change organizations. We will also be establishing a yearly internship, through our Art Worker Program, specific to aspiring black artists from around the world. This is just the beginning, and a small start to something that will stick with us indefinitely.
With Love.
